The self-clamping feature dramatically improves clamping rigidity and durability. The self-centering feature enables a smooth entrance to the workpiece and eliminates the need for a pilot hole. The multi-helical design improves drill-body strength and chip evacuation.

The direct cooling system supplies coolant directly to the rake face of the insert. This feature improves cooling of the drill tip and prevents chip adhesion. The maximum drilling depth is eight times the diameter, allowing for a wide variety of drilling applications.

A specialized wrench enables easy insert replacement. The Magic Drill DRC is available in cutting diameters from 8 to 20.5 millimeters and drilling depths of 3D, 5D, and 8D.
