Hybrid cermet for steel machining. Achieve both an excellent machined surface and long tool life. Kyocera has changed the standard for cermet with new hybrid technology.

A high-melting-point hybrid binder phase provides improved welding properties and high-quality surface finish. Stable machining and excellent machined surface finishes from high-speed to low-speed feed rates.

Achieve both excellent abrasion resistance and fracture resistance with a special gradient composition technology that uses a high-hardness cermet on the surface and a high-toughness cermet inside.

TN610 and PV710, new grades that help achieve high-speed cutting and excel in abrasion resistance, have been added to the lineup. PV710 and PV720 adopt heat-resistant MEGACOAT NANO to achieve high abrasion resistance.
