Has small-diameter cut-off been a headache for you in the past? Hi, I’m Brian, KYOCERA SGS Precision Tools. We’ve introduced our new KGZ system, small-diameter cut-off tools, to help solve your headaches. It consists of inserts as narrow as 1.3 mm all the way up to 3 mm wide.

We’ve redesigned the toolholders to improve clamping stability. The top and bottom V-shapes are designed to make it easier to index the insert inside the machine, so there’s no misloading of the insert and scrapping your workpiece.

We also have coolant-through holders, coolant-through coming from the bottom to cool the flank of the insert to help improve tool life and evacuate chips.
